There's plenty of comedy in the mismatch between the inner oji-san (middle aged men) possessing these shoujo heroines and their outer appearances. Also, both MCs are fathers of teen daughters and approach the cliche type shoujo drama with the cool headedness of an adult who wants children to grow up right.

If you are reading a Akuyaku Reijou anthology, you are already probably pretty deep in love with some villainesses. Give Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan a try to see what happens when a middle aged man does when reincarnated as the villainess. It's nonstop laughs. If you are waiting for the next chapter of ARTO to update, try some of the chapters from the anthology about villainesses. If you like comedic takes on the otome villainess tropes these manga are for you. ARTO is a reincarnation comic where instead of 30 something office worker becoming the villainess, it's a middle aged man- the comedy is endless. Also, in a twist, Truck-kun didn't actually kill him, he's in a coma and his wife and daughter are helping from outside the game. Play by Play Endo-kun and Color Commentary Kobayashi-san is more about making everyone aware of the real feelings of the tsundere villainess and preventing the bad ending.

In Net-chara, the MC is kind of chuuniesc. In Akuyaku the MC has this cheat power that translates his veteran office worker polite ways into the mannerism of a high class perfect lady. In Net-chara, the MC was a middle aged man. In Akuyaku the MC was a man, probably, close to his retirement. Etto… 0w0? I swear that both have this easy going flavor that makes them alike! But, out side of  read more
