If you're into 'Child Protoganist' tag, you will like it then.
I can understand why people hate. MC is 'forced' against his will to become Emperor which makes him seem weak. But that's not the case at all.
Author just didn't explain anything at the start which makes it seem plain. This could have been the next Slime Tensei novel if it had more fleshed-out characters.
Romance: I love how aggressive MC is for a change. And I like their small growth together, just their intimacy grows closer with each interaction.
Is this good? Honestly, I couldn't tell you. The Ecchi with other females *cough*

The novel is extremely enjoyable.
I love how the MC only comes out with the ideas and asks the experts in their fields to try and implement them or researching ways to produce them instead of him suddenly turning an expert in every field and teaching blacksmiths or crafters of new inventions from modern time that he mostly had a passing knowledge of. Personality wise the MC is very likable so far as well. He”s very flirtatious and teasing think of usui from maid Sama in a harem fantasy setting.
