Sometimes you need a cute little manga with no specific plot and wholesome enough to make you want more. This is the one. There's absolutely no way you'll hate this.
The art is normal I'd say, not super good because it's a simple manga but enough to appreciate the content.
The mc is a smooth, chad, little man of culture. You won't find anybody else like him. The maid is cute and her reactions to mc's verbal attacks are even cuter. Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii is yet another boring work from Wakame Konbu. It follows the main characters Yuuri and Lilith getting themselves into a near-copy of the same situation every chapter, creating a very boring experience. What’s this situation? Well:
1. Yuuri accuses Lilith of attempting to kill him 2. Lilith either teases him or plays along 3. Yuuri calls Lilith cute when trying to explain why she may be evil 4. She blushes. It’s a pretty rigid formula, as each chapter is about four pages, the same number of steps listed above. While this formula may sound cute, it unfortunately, doesn’t change at all. At the time of writing this I've only read volume 1, and like most manga the first volume sets up the plot and introduces the characters and jokes, making them the slowest and worst volumes in my experience, so keep that in mind here. As I read more volumes I'll probably come back and update my review if my opinion changes.
