Is the story painfully unoriginal? Yes. Was this an enjoyable read still? Also yes.
First and foremost, the art is very cute, simple and clear, which, as far as I know, is this author’s go to style. It fits the narration, but not the somewhat darker themes it tries to convey. In that sense it’s a little too cutesy at times.

Okay, real talk: For all you Little Witch Academia fans out there, I actually haven't watched the TV series for that yet. I've seen the first OVA, but that's about it. Don't worry, I plan on remedying that, as I just watched the first two episodes of LWA on Netflix, with intent to watch the rest. It was a cute and quick read. The art was cute, it was a fantasy setting with witches, and it had sapphics. Admittedly, it felt like it could've been more volumes. So many stories could've been explored, along with lore. Though ultimately, it was fine. I recommend the series for a cute and quick read if you like sapphics and witches. One of the couples reminds me of Marcille x Falin from Dungeon Meshi, so that's another reason to read this series.
