Preliminary (13/16 chp)
I really enjoyed Hello, Melancholic! I've read it at least five times and I'm still not tired of it, its become my comfort manga. It's funny, the art style is pretty good and it doesn't sexualize the women too much which is nice compared to other yuri manga. The story for the main duo is a bit of a slow burn which I like personally. Their relationship is dorky and awkward but also soft and adorable. The main character Minato at first may come off as overreactive but after reading this so many times I'm pretty sure she's just anxious and hasn't exactly had a ...

this manga is pretty fun and cute, but i was really underwhelmed with the development. since it's a yuri and it's related to music, i had huge expectations on this. i think the chatacters are pretty captivating and likable, but the relationship between the MCs was kinda... unnatural. like i couldn't grasp how they developed their feelings, specially hibiki's. it felt really out of place, which is unfortunate because i love them as characters. as a couple i don't see a lot of chemistry, mainly because of how their romantic relationship was built.
this is my only issue with this work, overall it was a ...

A decent read. However, it felt like there was a lot left unfinished, like the author had bigger ideas than would fit into a short series like this.

The characters were interesting and I really liked their designs. But, it felt like they were each so complex that the short length of the series just didn't do them justice in letting the reader experience their stories and really see them grow. Don't get me wrong, we do see character development throughout, it just did not quite reach a satisfying conclusion.

The main romance felt a little forced, or just didn't flow naturally. The more interesting romance was ...

This manga was a really fun read. The relationship between the main characters, Minato and Hibiki, is super cute. Minato has a ton of social anxiety and low self-esteem whereas Hibiki is optimistic and really draws Minato out of her shell.

The art is a little bit stylistic when it comes to the characters but that's not a bad thing by any means. Minato's character design and constant hunched posture match her personality particularly well.

The mangaka seems to play music based on one of the afterwards and the love of music the characters feel is really transferred through the page.

The side characters are also quite ...

I'm so...underwhelmed. It's difficult to read a 3 volume manga and feel like its so long, and then finish it feeling absolutely nothing? I was super excited for this manga. It has an art style and character designs that are unique and extremely pretty to read through. The characters alone are interesting and have room to grow. And yet, the chemistry between them is super lacking, not very romantic, and don't get any real growth. The side couple is eternally more interesting and I REALLY enjoyed them, but they get minimal page time after their brief flashback, and no real conclusion. It's so strange. This ...

Here I am once again to share my thoughts on another delightful romance I recently delved into, and this one happened to be a brief yet charming read.

In my view, music and romance harmonize seamlessly because music has the power to convey the most genuine emotions, surpassing the limitations of mere words.

Hence, this concise tale featuring two girls who venture into the realm of a music club is undeniably pleasing and heartwarming. With a refreshingly simple narrative that steers clear of convoluted plots or melodramatic twists, the spotlight shines brilliantly on the characters and the world of music.

It was truly heartening to witness the main ...
