Both series revolve around girls who are separated from their homes, leading them to live very different lives, and are sacrificed for their country. Both have love triangles including the main love interest being cold and lacking understanding of love to begin with. Both heroines have pink hair and blue eyes and overall in personality remind me a lot of each other.

both have a sweet mc in a fantasy ambieance; both have political drama going on; both mc has some kind of power that is mysterious to everyone.

The stories don't hold many similarities, but their beginnings are the same: a poor girl is captured (or bought) by the prince of her country, and ends up being close to him (in Harem in the Dessert the heroine is part of the prince's harem, and in Nina The Starry Bride she takes the place of the dead princess). The girls' personalities are also quite similar, both being strong-willed, straight-forward, childish (one of them is 15 years old I think so makes sense), and devoted to their beliefs/loved ones. The princes themselves resemble each other a bit.
