Recommendations

Both are drawn by the same Creator. Basically, Doumu is a shorter and evolving in a smaller space Akira. Both feature also lots of violences by physical contacts and psychic powers in a world riddled by violence and instability

Both manga create an atmosphere of tension, as they both deal with a series of murders / bizarre deaths. The settings are a bit different, since Pluto has robots, while Doumu has psychics. Also both manga also have a powerful child protagonist (Atom & Etsuko). Overall, both are award-winning manga, that have a fast pace and engaging plot, which makes them similar to some degree.

The mangas deal with characters fighting with their psychic abilities. Doumu is more darker and serious whereas Mob Psycho is more comedy.
