Both are vampire series with a human trying to traverse this new world to them in their own way. 

- In both series the main character(s) have insomnia. - In both series, the main character experiences their first love. - Both series have scenes where the characters are wandering around during the night. 

Both of the mc dealt with loneliness and not having friends, both are trying to iprove their lives 

Both have great artwork and have a horror aspect. They are polar opposites but are both really good. Oshi No Ko is more about the backside of Acting while Yofukashi no Uta is about Vampires. Trust me on these two.  

-Both have a female mc that's essentially a supernatural being i guess -Both have the comedy / romcom kinda genre  

-God tier pacing, -cozy nostalgic feeling reading both -Romantic plots that aren't afraid to show the pain of loving someone -although settings and time period are vastly different (Otoyomegatari being more historical/grounded) you still connect with the characters -Somehow captures the feelings of discovering your first crush and the joy, pain, and uncertainty of growing up
