This is actually good, surprisingly I enjoyed it, It's funny, It's cute, It's wholesome, I love it.

This is one of those mangas that can make your day, I just wished that it has a couple more chapters. It's comedy so it's easy to pick up the story, doesn't need a lot of proper character development, doesn't need the "problem-climax" part, just good old plain comedy, which is nice for a change of pace sometimes.

The art is superb, the art matches the comedy story it wants to portray, I didn't really appreciate the art until I saw the final panel, that was a sight to ...

Furukawa Uta is 14 years old, and she has a problem. That problem is Pi-chan, her parakeet. He can say "good morning", and "thank you", and oh, he's bigger than she is.

One of my truest loves is oneshots that don't try to cram too much in. In this way, Uchi no Pi-chan made my heart sing. Uta has a parakeet that's just too darn big, and that's about all there is to the story. Where are her parents? Don't know, doesn't matter. Where does a bird like Pi-chan come ...

Furukawa Uta has only had Pi-chan for 5 minutes, but if anything happened to it...

This one-shot is an adorably illustrated collection of short gags about what it would be like to take a very small pet and suddenly make it big. What would remain the same about its upbringing? What would change? What would this mean for the child responsible? The writing doesn't try to explain how or why this change took effect, doesn't try to write characters or development, and the status quo is never altered. The story has only one thing to say, proceeds to say it, and then bids the readers farewell ...
