I've been asked pretty frequently to recommend something, so I've created this stack.
This is my personal opinion on what's "a hidden gem". I think some of these considered "mildly" popular? If you read a lot of manga, you probably know some of these. I hope you do, haha.

Everything here I've either read or reading atm. None of those have an anime adapatation (OVAs and live-actions don't count).

Wholesome romance/romcom mangas that heal the soul. These are primarily light and enjoyable SOLs with no overtly dramatic conflicts.
These explore the relationships between the couples and their daily lives.

A collection of romantic comedies set in the office / workplace.

These are light hearted stories about people trying to balance both their relationships and work life.

A great manga has the ability to drag the readers into the story and make them experience what the characters are going through. Intense battle sequences will make you hold your breath in excitement while heartbreaking scenes will make you bawl your eyes out.

But there are times when you don't want to feel such deep emotions from manga. Sometimes you just want to sit back, relax, and enjoy the story. manga/manhwa that feature office-based romances! this is a pretty open list, so fantasy elements are welcome, but the characters must be working in some sort of professional capacity, work together or within the same company, and must be seen to be doing work often. if the characters met while working from home, this may be accepted (home office), but work unrelated to a central office environment will not be considered (delivery drivers, superheroes, etc). if the couple met in the context of office work, but later chapters explore their lives outside of this, this may be accepted.

The oversaturation of highschool romance in manga & anime calls for a palate cleanser in the form of romance between adults.

Age gap is okay as long as both love interests are adults and out of highschool.

If you spend a decent amount of time in the animanga community, you've probably heard most of these in passing. These are the popular manga that ended in 2023.

The qualifications for getting in is by being in the 15-20k+ range for overall stats, disqualifying oneshots. I might also add some sequels or spinoffs for popular series(like my 2024 list), though that's up in the air.

Speaking of the 2024 list, from simple observation, there are more entries this time compared to 2024. However, as the years go by, the stats will go up, and there's probably going to be more manga racked up for the 2024 list.
