So here we have yet another of Adachi's baseball mangas. You can found the same childhoodfriend setting, only this time we have two girls and one boy. Both of these concentrate mainly on baseball and getting to Koshien, but have a nice romance going on all the way through the series. 

The Art style and the fact they are both baseball manga. Also a LOT of the characters look very similar. Probably due to being done by the same person. 

Both of these manga focus on romance and sports plus both of these manga have some degree of drama in it. While Cross Game focuses a little bit more on sports and is about baseball instead of track and field both of these manga have a main female character who introduces the sport to the main male character. The fact that the main male character and the main female character are neighbors are also similar as well as both the male and female characters are pretty good at their sports. 

Both series have a plot/goal that focuses on a dream of a deceased character. 

Similar story about romance with sports background. Both follows the path of MC's sports career. As Cross Game has a subtle romance, in Smash it has more impact to the whole story. In both stories both MC's are sports prodigies. 

-Baseball meets slice of life -Very precocious and realistic depiction of romance -Not about baseball, but about what baseball means in the lives of the characters  

These two shounen sports stories share a few similarities. In both titles the main character isn't interested in the sport at first. It all changes when tragedy strikes in his life. From that moment he starts to change himself, in order to become an oustanding player. Also both series have realistic approach to the sport theme. Both mangas catch the reader into a story full of feelings related to sports and what it takes practice one. If you liked Cross Game, you may as well like Area no Kishi.  

If you like slice of life stories with baseball in it, plus the progress where 2 characters are slowly starting to like each other then both are for you. Cross Game is quite known actually, but I was amazed how much I like Yugami-kun manga in those similar themes. 

Sport manga where Death of a person plays an important role in the character's development. Therefore if you are up for a story with a bit of bittersweet feeling you might like them both. CG is baseball and 1/11 is football.  

Both female leads have a similar hindrance of being the only female teammate playing on an all male team and being unable to play in official games  

Both mangas are about sports, where the main female characters are both interested in the male category of a sport, due to the limitations of being female in comparison to a male's physique . In the case of Nononono, female ski jumpers are not allowed in the Olympics, and in case of Cross Game, female players are not allowed in the Koshien. Both mangas also contain tragedy. However, Nononono contains darker undertones, while Cross game has more comical reliefs. 

Same author all facing there different hardships and fueling there passion of baseball a slice of life with a nice development of romance. 

A similar asthetic is shared by these two series. Both are situated with a slice-of-life persona profoundly as a result of light dialogue, simple characterisation, and slow plot progression. 

Cross Game and Stripe Blue are both school-based romances with a strong focus on baseball as a catalyst for character development and story progression. 

These two series encapsulate a slice-of-life feel which has roots in comedy, drama, and romance. 

Monaco no Sorae's storytelling is akin to that of the many shounen sport series by Mitsuru Adachi. Both of these sports titles have slice-of-life aesthetics that mixes comedic, dramatic, and romantic elements in their narratives. 

Both feature a mostly slice of life feel that deeply explores the interpersonal relationships, and the attractions that come with them, amongst a group of friends. 

From the same author, both manga have the elements of losing someone and how each of the main characters deal with it(except Q&A has more of a supernatural theme to it) If you've read any of Adachi's past work(Rough, Miyuki, Katsu etc), you will definitely like either of his latest manga.  

They're about different sports, but a good chunk of the plot of both series is the competition between two teams at the same school -- the jerkwad coach's handpicked crew of golden boys, and our neglected, ignored, ragtag bunch of hardworking heroes. 

Baseball manga where main character try to win competition mostly for someone else's sake. The pitchers have awesome skills. Both are underestimated, hidden geniuses.
