Vertigo was an imprint of DC Comics that existed between 1993 to 2020. The imprint was made in order for DC to publish comics for more mature audiences. Notable successes included The Sandman, The Saga of the Swamp Thing, Hellblazer, Preacher, Y: The Last Man, DMZ, 100 Bullets, and Fables.

The following are some series I think will appeal to fans of Vertigo looking to get into the world of manga.

⚠️ There are controversial themes on some of them like: incest, child abuse, rape, extreme violence, cannibalism, scatology, zoophilia, and others.

Man(ga,hua,hwa), light novels, and novels where swordfighting or the philosophy of the way of the sword is a central point and/or the protagonist uses a sword as a main weapon

(I'll keep updating as I read & complete more series that fit this criteria!)
Definitely will take recommendations for this criteria as I love blades & they will be a hyperfixation for quite a time
