The common concept of these manga works is the unbeknownst protagonist, searching for the reasons behind the events taking place in the present time. While Kimi ga Bokura wo Akuma to Yonda Koro (Akuma) deals with amnesia due to seemingly unknown reasons, Shinai naru Boku e Satsui wo Komete (Shinai) has a more intricate plot, revolving around Dissociative Personality Disorder (frequently misconceived as Schizophrenia). While reading Akuma I couldn't help but think I was reading a story by the same author as Shinai (albeit not) - the motives of the main characters for having the desire to unfold the truth are identical, and so is  read more

Main character has to confront his past in ways that he didn't expect. Exploration on what it means to live after being a bad person in the past. > Same themes of "why do we live?" Viewing one guy from multiple different perspectives of people judging him based on one part of his life.

Both have mystery/psychological elements. There are also prominent features of criminality of main characters in each story. There is not an emphasis on romance element in Kimi ga Bakaru wo Akuma to Yonda Koro compared to Narsume Arata no Kekkon.

Both mangas explore the topic of guilt after commiting a horrible crime, that of course can not simply be forgiven. Main characters I wouldn't say are simmilar, but it is had to be said that there are aspects which they share, especially at the end. Also one of the most important details is the amnesia aspect, not only the fact that main character has amnesia, but how story progresses and how main character remembers fragments of his past.

Well, this manga is about a guy who lost his memories of being a ''devil'' as it's told, kinda like evil punpun but 100000000 times worse, and then we have this girl who remind us of Aiko, but with a even worse background. If you liked punpun because of his search for Aiko and their end, you'll definitely like this one.

They're both psychological thrillers that ponder abstract philosophical questions about morality and what it means to be right or wrong.

Both manga tackle questions surrounding morality. In Even If You Don't Do It, the focus is on whether cheating can ever be justified and how difficult it can be to simply end a marriage. Back When You Called Us Devils raises the question of whether someone truly unforgivable deserves forgiveness, even if they’ve changed. I think if you like one you will probably like the other.

Both are very similar in many apsects but this manga is from the perspective of the bully and the people he bullied come back at him for revenge after he gets amnesia. -mystery -school Not too many people talk about this but I thuink it has a lot of potential and if you like manga like Juujika no Rokunin I would read this.
