This is a list of quality BL works that avoid a lot of common unhealthy tropes in the genre.

Wholesome in this context does not necessarily mean fluffy stories devoid of drama (though there are some). A lot of these do have drama, but the point is that the relationships have a large focus on consent and are also healthy, positive influences for the characters.

All of these entries are complete and are personally recommended favorites (roughly arranged in order of enjoyment).

All works listed exhibit the following:
- Consensual, positive, non-toxic relationships
- Strong characterization and/or strong narratives
- Completed, shorter length series (most are 1-3 volumes, upper limit is 5)
- Quality art (bonus points for unique and non-stereotypical art styles)
- Manga works only

Other common preferences, but not in every work:
- Relationship equality and/or reversal of expected dynamics
- Non-mundane settings and premises (speculative/supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi elements)

Ok, we know how many stories there are with students of all kinds (delinquents, honor students, baka/stupid ones, popular ones, sporty and son on - high school and college/university): I'm going to put my favs, they are usually sweet, fluffy and heartwarming stories, anyway with not too much drama.
HIGH SCHOOL --> I'm doing a similar stack for college students

Tsundere characters come off as cold and harsh but they also have a warmer and friendlier side to them, which they usually don't show immediately but only after a while when they opened up to someone. This stack collects BL manga with such tsundere characters.

bl manga and manhwa that i've rated 8+/10. we all know a lot of bl is kinda shite so this list had good ones that also have little to no trigger or content warnings but take that with a grain of salt

Are you tired of starting a BL story, super excited and than a f*cking r*pe/sexual assault happens for no reason? and after that, like it was nothing, a relationship begins? like wtf?
(i'm not against the representation r*pe/sexual assault per se, since it does happens in real life, but i'm DEFINITELY against the romanticization of those things in general, and especially in BL, since many stories portrays as something "normal" or even *trying not to throw up* "romantic". these are serious topics and should receive proper treatment when showed on media. this is especially sad considering the stigma that gay man/queer people have of been predators).
I'm also tired!
