I've been asked pretty frequently to recommend something, so I've created this stack.
This is my personal opinion on what's "a hidden gem". I think some of these considered "mildly" popular? If you read a lot of manga, you probably know some of these. I hope you do, haha.

Everything here I've either read or reading atm. None of those have an anime adapatation (OVAs and live-actions don't count).

all the shoujo + josei manga currently scheduled to release volume 1's of english prints in 2023! wanted to make this stack for anyone whos like me and wants to keep track of the new shojo and josei that is coming out this year so they can add some to their collection. i will try to keep this updated if more series are announced throughout the year, enjoy <3

All of Seven Seas Entertainment’s ‘The Complete Manga Collection’ omnibus editions.

**NOTE: I am only including things which actually have ‘The Complete Manga Collection’ in the release title, so regular omnibus releases like ‘In the corner of the world’ will not be included**

These are single-volume English releases of manga originally published in Japanese as 2-3 volumes.

I used a combination of Amazon listings and their own website to gather this information, but please feel free to message me if I missed anything!

I tried to compile an extensive list of the English Licensed Shojo and Josei manga titles where romance is a sub-plot at best, if present at all (many of these don't have any romance present).

Manga with a lot of cats, wandering around or part of the main cast. They don't have to be an important part of the story theme, they just need to be there. The manga have to show a minimum of three cats to be here.
