Ao ni naku has a mundane yet mysterious story which keeps you asking questions throughout the manga. It can be quite confusing at times but most of that is cleared up towards the end.
If you enjoy artstyles similar to Jujustu Kaisen, you'll find this art breathtaking. With choppy lines and a simple style of shading it manages to look bold and edgy while still delivering on the romance and supernatural parts of the plor.
The characters aren't the driving force of this story, but while they weren't the most captivating personalities out there, they still managed to seem real, like any guy you'd meet walking down
...
the street. They had real passions and interests and fell in love slowly and realistically.
While i found that it got a little too complicated towards the end i still enjoyed this manga and it's inceptions very much for an overall score of 8.
