both manga bring stories about girls who cosplay and bring along with them, boys who have an antisocial behavior, the difference is that one goes more towards the romance side and the other towards the harem side..

Both have girl gyaru main characters that end up in peculiar relationships with unusual guys.

Looking for some wholesome gal romance content? Look no further. For I have come to your aid. Two wholesome gal romances coming up! So why have I recommended these two together? For one, they're wholesome; two, they're about gals; and three, they're romances. Got attention yet? No????? Okay. I shall unleash my true forms.. Okay, jokes aside, these two mangas are about gals who have something they're passionate about. For Gal Gohan, it's about cooking, and for Bisque, it's about cosplaying. They both get help from their love interests, who specialize in what they like, and they both learn different things about the skills involved in their  read more

In Runway, our protagonist Ikuto is aiming to become a fashion designer. In Sono Bisque, our protagonist Gojou wants to pursue his passion for creating Japanese-styled dolls. In both scenarios, our protagonist have issues interfering with their goals, but by meeting someone, that pushed them into further reaching their dreams.

Introverted guy with a "Feminine" hobby and an extroverted popular girl who takes interest in him because of his hobby. If you enjoy this story, them My Dress Up Darling is a must read for you.

Mob character meets gyaru and they fall in love, but better executed. Very much a feel-good series without much drama.

Similar-esque rom-com with outgoing (not so much a delinquent in Sono Bisque) gyaru and introverted-ish dark haired mc. However akutsu-san has a lot shorter chapters with a lot more focus on the romance and stuff, whereas there is a plot (kinda) for sono bisque that doesn't entirely focus on the relationship. Both are good and entertaining reads tho.

Akane just makes faces that are straight out of the Marin manga poster

"A girl who changes life of no-friend kind boy's life in good way." they have for concept. The romcom part is also similer but Dress-up Darling don't have a Najimi sadly. Also Dress-up Darling's characters are not much as Komi-san (Just 2 main. That's all.) But for read a similer Slice of Life romcom serie My Dress-up Darling is good enough.

hitomi chan é um anime de romance muito bom, ele é relativamente simples, não tem uma arte absurda mas é muito satisfatório de ler, recomendo para todos que gostam de mangas/animes de romance

Blond, lively female lead, Rather Plain-looking, reserved male lead. Both are romcoms with themes in the creative field: Sono Bisque with cosplay and fashion/design, and Beat & Motion with music and animation. Both wholesome & meaningful character interactions. Beat & Motion has a lot less ecchi.

Both have a nerdy girl teaching the MC about nerdy things and falling slowly in love - very wholesome!

Both mangas feature an artisan + gyaru main couple. In Cuprum, the characters are slightly older and the story starts off with them getting engaged, so you save yourself all the will-they-won't-they shenanigans. But the leads in both shows are well fleshed-out characters, and you can see why they've organically grown to like each other, rather than just being glued together through plot contrivances and romance clichés as in so many other romcom mangas. Sono Bisque Doll focuses on the main couple getting into the world of cosplay, while Cuprum focuses on the male lead's craft as a coppersmith. Cuprum also has strong small town  read more

I think Marin and Galko would be great friends, and I appreciate how both series break the mold of what stereotypically seen for Gyarus, along with having a variety of interactions with different characters

Both Otomen and Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru focus in a male protagonist who engages in non ''manly'' hobbies. Otomen focuses highly on the inner struggles of a person who hides it, while Sono Bisque focuses more in the surroundings, showing that everyone has their interests no matter the gender or body type. In Otomen, the MP enjoys girly things, while in Sono Bisque the MP, that made Japanese Dolls, ends up involved in cosplay making.

You have the best of two worlds that most people love Streamers & Cosplayers Both have a protagonist that meet up with a streamer/cosplayer and start their events and meet up with so many people with similar admiration of the craft they love to do. They have similar vibe for being a romance manga and I do recommend both to understand how a streamer of different genre feel and how different cosplayers are.

The main female protagonist in Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru has a very outgoing personality who leads her life doing the things that she wants to do. Similarly, the female protagonist in Seihantai na Kimi to Boku also does the same thing with both having bubbly personalities. The male leads similarly have reserved and laid back personalities who are taken on an trip through a world they never thought existed outside their own bubble.

I think in story they may not be so similar except the somewhat gyaru nature of the two girls but the way both of these manga have put so much attention to detail on the character design is amazing. It's truly a sight to see!

The protagonist has a passion that the heroine uses to fulfill or grow her own passion, in which a romance starts to develop between the two. The passion in the both series revloves around anime and its community. There is a group of characters with different personalities, mainly comprised of female characters.

If you like romance where there is (a) actually things happening and (b) actually interesting or fun characters, they both have this. Both have great artstyles and make you wanna read it all in one night. They're both solid.
