Synopsis

Shuuto Haruno is a casual gamer who uses the handle "Kalbi" online. For weeks, he has been talking to "Maorin," a cute girl with a sweet personality. Now, the two have finally decided to meet up in real life. Haruno is hopeful that maybe his desire for a girlfriend will finally be fulfilled, but his friends are not so sure. Warning him about the dangers of meeting with strangers online, they fill Haruno with the fear that Mao may not be what she seems.

Choosing to believe in the girl he has grown to love, Haruno goes anyway. His suspicions begin to grow when Mao runs extremely late, and finally, his deepest fears are confirmed when his beloved "Maorin" arrives as Mao Suzuki, a man. What's worse is that Haruno attends the same college as Suzuki, who is extremely popular and completely out of Haruno's reach.

Despite their awkward encounter and Mao's true gender, the two bond quickly over their common interests, mainly games. Haruno comes to find that Suzuki still possesses the cute qualities he fell in love with online. But with the knowledge that even the stony-faced Suzuki will smile for a particular girl, will Haruno's feelings remain unrequited?

Reviews

This is actually my first time making a review and I'm glad it will be for this manga.

I could say that this is one of my favorite BL manga and I like how it's not actually focused on R scenes and I love the development of the story.

The art is really good and very detailed and I like how the two main characters, Mao and Haruno are portrayed, especially their own personalities and differences. The other characters (e.g Asuza) has a nice character design as well.

The story is really good and definitely cute, in my opinion, and it gave a chance for the two characters ...

Do you like precious moments of awkwardness? Then check in out (unless yaoi ain't your thing ofc). I'm not going to say this is anything life changing for the genre but I legitimately enjoyed reading this and the characters are very cute.
The Story: Boy goes to meet his online friend (and hopefully girlfriend) only to find out they're actually the ikemen from his college! The two bump into each other, eventually becoming close *wink wink*.
Art: Very pretty art, expressive use of backgrounds and expressions. If you look at the artwork you can see how much effort was put in, how refreshing!
Character: Super adorable pair who ...

Mixed Feelings
Kimi to no Dogfight is a really chill, easy to read manga. If you feel like reading something really light, this is just the the manga for the job.

The plot is pretty straight forward, and maybe a bit cliché (which made me a bit pissed to be honest; classic case of miscommunication), but still, this is quite enjoyable. Haruno is the cute go-easy sunshine type of a guy, and Mao is the really handsome guy who gets misunderstood due to his looks. Nothing new there and paired with the lack of communication you get the same ol’ yaoi manga plot.

But this manga somehow makes it ...
