A must-read for all fans of yaoi, for this is one of Minami Haruka's best works. It's unlike her usual light & fluffy reads, because Saihate no Kimi e has a rather deep (and at times, dark) storyline in addition to its many steamy scenes. Well, deep compared to her other manga, if you are familiar with them.
By the time you have finished this, you will have connected to the two main characters Ryou and Akihito on a personal level, making this read very enjoyable indeed. And can I add that it's hot, hot, HOT? I mean wow! Minami knows what we like, ...

Mixed Feelings
'Saihate no Kimi e' is a manga that's easy to forget. It's short and missing a lot of proper depth because of this.

Story:
The story had a bit of potential to be interesting. I liked the set-up of the two brothers even if you never saw them together properly. The family had possibility to go further into and the romance wasn't too bad despite the unfortunate dynamics of feeling used and unloved by each other. I couldn't really be happy with the story as it was. It felt a little rushed and missing important elements.
