I am genuinely surprised no one has reviewed this as of yet (Feb 2020). Well, here goes..
Before I begin, I will not cover events in the book. I'm personally not a fan of that, and a synopsis is readily available on this site and Wikipedia. This is purely my take on whether you should drop the 15 odd dollars on it.

The best thing about this light novel is how well it is written. The quality of writing and worldbuilding is the greatest part of this LN, and I think it surpasses most LNs I've read. If you want a well written, more novel-like, rich world, read this. I hope more people read this LN, since the writing is so good and the MC, Mariela, is a simple, cute, hardworking, thoughtful, intelligent little alchemist. Story - great. No forced isekai to get the character in this setting, but still has a good intro. Art - the covers of the books are beautiful and help flesh out the world. ... |
