Both are mysteries involving the ghosts, a normal girl and a guy with special abilities and a difficult temper. Plus, both are really good. 

One of the main leads have supernatural powers(ESP in Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 and red eye that sees ghosts in Shinrei Tantei Yakumo) and they help the police to solve cases by using them. Keishichou Tokuhanka 007, which is comical and has romantic developments is lighthearted than Shinrei Tantei Yakumo which deals with the psychological issues of ghosts 

They both are horror themed mysteries, both are about solving cases, so if you like one then you will also like the other. 

Both male protagonist likes to be left alone, and great deductive reasoning. 

Both are stories about a "hot" detective and they include a bit of romance 

Both are about young detectives with their humble female partner, that are very interesting 

Both series are all based on supernatural and main male character had a special power that others didnt. but shinrei tantei yakumo are more on ghost while selected'P are more youkai.  

The main character is smart like L but in shinrei tanatei yakumo it is due to his eye and he also eats sugary food after he thinks about a case. He looks a lot like L and even his attitude is similar. The story line is about crimes but in death note it is more realistic because shinrei tantei yakumo has ghosts and spirits.if you read shinrei tantei yakumo it will definitely remind you of deathnote. They are both really similar and enjoyable so if you like one you will like the other.
