Both are stories with a human lead with cooking abilities and a supernatural character. Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi is more of a romance with the lead trying to escape becoming an ogre's bride and Zashiki Musume to Ryourinin is more of a coming of age as a young chef that can see a house spirit works on finding out what he really wants from life. 

Somehow these josei seem to be the same. Both heroines are paying off a debt and working at a ryokan. Promise Cinderella goes more into cliche territory around Chapter 40, but both are very enjoyable.
