Favorites: 24 | New Interest Stack Interest Stacks(not just manga but I don't want to bog down the title) bl as in: published in a bl magazine or otherwise implied by the author (ergo; just because the mc is a queer guy does not mean the manga is bl) A very common (but something I still very much enjoy) trope in Yuri involving the main characters each individually having blonde or black hair. I’m not exactly looking for other archetypes or traits aside from that for now, but there is a nuance in recognizing that this particular trope does also contain similar/variations of “down to earth black-haired character with a contrasting blonde beauty” themes. this year I will try to read more shoujo/josei! and the queer manga I´ve been meaning to read for a long time :) This stack is for any manga prominently featuring sapphic characters that was published in a female-oriented manga magazine. An interest stack featuring the top 20 winners of the Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" (This Manga is Amazing! aka このマンガがすごい) annual magazine for 2020, with female and male winners included (so 40 winners total). Queer manga published by Seven Seas Entertainment that are available in English. A list of all the Shojo and Josei manga titles licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment continued I'm defining "modern" Shojo and Josei manga to mean anything that began being published in 2013 or later. Obviously personal taste plays a role in whether you'll like something. I'm also trying to focus on Shojo and Josei manga licensed in English officially, so some excellent stories will sadly be missing from this list (they should probably get their own at some point). |
