The Masked Man is an American YouTuber who makes videos primarily about manga, but also anime, and very occasionally video games. He does in-depth analysis on the subjects he talks about. Here is his top 50 manga. "To be running breathlessly, but not yet arrived, is itself delightful, a suspended moment of living hope." So just so we're on the same page, I only add stuff here I actually read and enjoyed, otherwise the list would be muuuuch longer) Part one: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/6924 They would have gotten away with it too, If it weren't for these meddling protagonists. These are a few mangas that I believe everyone should read at least once in the entirety of their life All of these manga must have EITHER: So we all know the mystery genre tag is freaking bloated and stuff with stuff that isnt really mystery Manga with exceptionally good artwork, not something that's the same boring black and white generic faces/body types. But instead manga that takes its artwork seriously, the artist knows how to create a scene, give each character unique appearances. Some of my personal favorite manga that are underrated/underappreciated or are regarded highly but nobody seems to mention. Some manga lack an audience in the west while others struggled with translations during the times of publishing, however every manga listed is amazing and truly works of art that need more attention. Must-read manga mostly demographed as Seinen but also contains other good mangas that are not published in any Seinen magazine but are definitely suited for an older/adult audience. |
