The Next Manga Award (次にくるマンガ大賞 / Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) is an annual award for the best new manga series presented by Kadokawa Corporation's Da Vinci magazine and the Niconico streaming website. It is divided into two categories: one for print manga, and one for web manga.
Winners are announced every year at the end of August.

This is a list of the Shojo and Josei manga that have received physical releases from Kodansha, even if some of them are Out of Print.

Notably, I am NOT including any titles which have been physically released by Seven Seas or Yen Press in this list as Kodansha was not the one to give them a physical release.

I will include any titles which were previously published by another publisher that Kodansha has re-released.

I tried to compile an extensive list of the English Licensed Shojo and Josei manga titles where romance is a sub-plot at best, if present at all (many of these don't have any romance present).

I'm defining "modern" Shojo and Josei manga to mean anything that began being published in 2013 or later. Obviously personal taste plays a role in whether you'll like something. I'm also trying to focus on Shojo and Josei manga licensed in English officially, so some excellent stories will sadly be missing from this list (they should probably get their own at some point).

Just for a disclaimer: Some of these I am still reading but somehow I have come to love them and think of them often.

I read a lot of shoujo and josei manga/manhwa/manhua so I thought I should make a list like this.

This one consists of traditional manga from the shoujo and josei demographic. Just added some titles that I think deserve more recognition than they already have.

Shojo & Josei are demographics, not genres, so here we have some no romance or at least not romance centered series

An interest stack featuring the top 20 winners of the "Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" (This Manga is Amazing! aka このマンガがすごい) annual magazine for 2018, with female and male (men and women) category winners included (so 40 winners total).

This stack will feature both men and women category winners, alternating between the women and men winners, from 1st place to 20th place.

Note that there can be ties here (usually two-way), and if a category is missing some place (for example, missing 14th place in the men's category), it usually indicates that either its title was not revealed as per the author's request, or there was a tie.
