These are some series that I have read/am reading. That are either centred around LGBT+ stories or has significant LGBT+ characters.

I did include Nagata Kabi's other works I haven't finished, just because I really enjoy her work and I'm planning on reading them soon anyway lel

I also do plan to add to this list as I read more manga :)

don't expect (all) of them to blow your mind, make you rethink your whole life, or anything like that; some may just make you go "oh, i haven't thought about it that way before!" it's just as simple as that.

also, not necessarily every chapter of each manga was something to meditate on. so don't expect about that either.

also!! "thought-provoking" does not necessarily equal "philosophy".

also, (ah, i'm getting tired of this word), all of those manga have under 15k members, hence why i call them "hidden gems"

These manga will be about Queer people, made by LGBTQ identifying mangaka. The manga may be explicitly autobiographical, or just have Queer themes. While there may be many other closeted Queer peopled within the manga industry, these stories are by explicitly "out" authors. Please enjoy, so more authors feel like they can come forward to be their authentic selves. :)

There are a fair number of LGBT mangakas who write memoirs of their lives. I haven't read all of these yet.

Po czasie ich działaność rozszerzyła się o polskie komiksy inspirowane stylem mangowym oraz doujinshi komedie oparte na wcześniej powstałych już tworach (np.
