Rinna Keibu wa Iki ga Dekinai is a manga most people probably haven’t heard of. It’s a simple love story between a high-ranked detective and a clumsy new guy. It’s nothing much more than that, but it’s still a nice and fun read.
The story is rather short. The cases and situations were nice and fun, and the few ecchi moments it had were not forced.
The pacing in the manga was good. It’s episodic with a decent portion of it being story chapters. You felt their relationship grow naturally over the 15 chapters. The only thing I felt was unnatural about the pacing was that the

final problem at the end of the manga felt a bit forced. Other than that, the pacing of the story was good and natural.
The main characters in this manga were nice. Their relationship was cute and natural. I felt that their relationship worked in the final arc even though it was forced.
The side characters were not built up enough. I didn’t care too much for them, but I’d say that the other romance within this manga was cute even though it wasn’t very impactful.
The manga had a pretty good art style. It had an art style that emphasized that it was a slice of life work. It consisted of many soft lines without too many edges and it was pretty much the opposite of a rough drawing. The art also helps emphasize the ecchi moments within the manga with its softer style. This art works well for both the slice of life and ecchi moments.
I found this manga quite enjoyable and read all 15 chapters within a single day, without pausing. Overall, it’s a nice and fun read about a romance between the professional and stern Inspector Rinna and the clumsy newbie Private Detective Meishi. Even though it has its flaws, it’s still a fun read.
