I have a really hard time scoring this. The story it's really good and it keeps you entertained and on your toes the whole time, but the way it started and the first chapters were also kinda upsetting. Why? Blackmail, basically rape, and sexual harassment, internalized (and not only) homophobia (it's realistic, but since one of the MCs had it it was pretty annoying, even more based on how often internalized homophobia makes an appearance in BL mangas, webtoons and anime).
Let me explain.
Story: 7/10. Some group of high-schoolers playing a punishment game, the loser has to kiss a random person on the street. So he
...
does, and apologizes after and runs away, only to find out the next days that the guy he kissed is a senpai at his school. The senpai then rapes him, because when he kissed him the other day it "brought back unpleasant memories", and then takes a pic of his climaxing (?) face as blackmail. From then on, they have a sexual relationship (kind of) which slowly grows into something else. The reason why I gave it a 7 is only because the beginnings of this relationship and the way they got to know each other, otherwise it'd be 9.
Art: 7/10. It's okay, not that much attention paid to detail but the art style is nice so it works. What's a little weird to me is that even though they're supposed to be high-schoolers they look like full-grown adults (only the female characters look more like their age).
Character: here goes a 8/10, because both protagonists have complex, realistic personalities and their interactions with people and between themselves also feel natural (well... to the extent you could call blackmailing someone natural, i guess... but it gets better trust me, it really does). Kind of a boomer is that side characters have approximately 0 importance in here, if I can even call them side characters (aside Miyata's ex). Their relationship is pretty damn toxic at the beginning and it keeps going like this mostly because their personalities and issues (*ahem* severe trust issues *ahem*), but luckily it gets way better.
Enjoyment: 9/10. Aside the stuff that I already said multiple times that I didn't like at the beginning, it was truly enjoyable.
Overall, 7/10. Recommend it if you can overlook the things I gave the story a 7 instead of a 9 for.
