Named after Osamu Tezuka, the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize (手塚治虫文化賞, Tezuka Osamu Bunkashō) is a yearly manga prize awarded to manga artists or their works that follow the Osamu Tezuka manga approach founded and sponsored by Asahi Shimbun. The prize has been awarded since 1997, in Tokyo, Japan.

The Creative Award (also called the New Creator Award) is given to works which display novel talents, including innovative presentation and groundbreaking themes.

Kyou Machiko in 2014 for Mitsuami no Kamisama, U, Ano ne, and mina-mo-no-gram.
Tajima Rettou in 2020 for Mizu wa Umi ni Mukatte Nagareru and Goaisatsu: Tajima Rettou Tanpenshuu.
Taniguchi Natsuko in 2022 for Kyoushitsu no Katasumi de Seishun ga Hajimaru and Konya Sukiyaki da yo.

Note: Junji Ito's manga published by Pipoca & Nanquim follow the Japanese edition "Masterpiece Collection", which puts the author's main works in order. However, Myanimelist doesn't follow the same order, which makes selecting the correct mangas for the list very confusing. Therefore, only some of Ito's manga are listed, while the rest of the manga, along with other manga that are not available on the MAL website, will be described with the name used in the Masterpiece Collection.

Obs.: Os mangás de Junji Ito publicados pela Pipoca & Nanquim seguem a edição japonesa "Masterpiece Collection", a qual põe em ordem os principais trabalhos do autor. No entanto, o Myanimelist não segue a mesma ordem, o que torna muito confuso selecionar os mangás corretos para a lista. Manga from the alternative manga magazine Comic Beam that have been officially published in English. Since Comic Beam has a broader audience than most alternative manga magaziness, it's arguable whether it should be considered one, but I still included it.
