Post-apocalyptic slice-of-life series. YKK has more iyashikei/"healing" in it.

Both are post-apocalyptic manga about young characters trying to survive. They both feature cutesy characters. One is much grittier and more philosophical, the other is much more lighthearted with some slight dark undertones, but both provide interesting looks at this kind of setting. Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou is much more thought out and well done, but if you enjoyed one you might like the other.

Both series feature a lonely little girl who lives with an adorably monstrous companion. While many cute moments are featured there are also many moments reminding everyone exactly how alien these creatures are.

Both series have a sort of whimsical fantasy outlook and a focus on food. Owari Nochi has a scary-cute giant spider companion whereas Shiosai no Majo's protagonist mostly only has human visitors (although they are all characters from famous fairy tales or fantasy stories).

Even though they are different genres, these manga focus on building a heart healing atmosphere through beautiful depictions of food or coffee.
