This is a must read. Not because it's the greatest story ever told or anything like that, but it is simply fascinating. At times it feels like a generic shounen and then at other times it's like going down a deviant art rabbit hole and reading someone turn their bizarre fetish into an epic adventure. MCW is a slow burn. Just finished v3 ch12 and just now the underlying mystery (origin) of the story and world are unfolding for me. New characters are being introduced and the world is opening up. The MC is not too naive or useless, therefore not too annoying. We learn about MCW as the MC does. The story pacing is a good mix of action and mystery within a strange and unique world. The best thing about this manga is the characters. From small parts to the MC(s) every character is unique and treated respectfully. Lots of eye candy in each panel.
