Monsters are attracted to the main character who happens to have befriended a non-human who has always protected her since childhood.  

"Kira*Kira Crystal" (K*KC) and "Another Kingdom" (AK) both have strong supernatural abilities that tie a young woman into the lives of two men who are potential love interests. Character Similarities: Fukuda Akimi from K*KC and Hatsuse Nanao from AK both have the gift to see the spirits that are unseen to the rest of humanity. The Chigaya twins from K*KC are born into a family who battle evil spirits. The Elder brother is the serious, scientifically minded and tactless type while the Younger brother is the playful, immature pretty-boy type. Nanao's Class Rep, Yatou Kaname, who vehemently denies and yet hates all things spiritual due to his own heritage has a strong resemblance to the elder twin. Akajita, Nanao's childhood friend and youkai, shares the light-heartedness and immaturity of the younger brother. The relationship between the two main love interests is very similar, including the super-natural aspects of it. I feel like Kanata Kara is the time-lapsed, longer-run edition of Another Kingdom.  

Two fantasy stories with a similar relationship and dynamic between the three main leads.
