Story: 8 Honestly the somewhat weakest part of this manga but what can you expect it’s a comedy, with the basic premise being a crazy buff demon fanatic human got contracted as a familiar by a ‘weak’ demon girl who is trying to catch her crime-crazy dad. Interesting idea, but gets old quick. I loved the beginning dynamic between Patty & Norman. Their relationship was funny that a little demon girl's familiar is a human who's insanely strong and obsessed with research. But after a while each story becomes ridiculously predictable, leaving out any suspense or excitement. Every problem is solved last minute thanks to Norman having just the right item for each situation. My biggest problem is the series has an interesting storyline but the characters remain so dull and undeveloped I found myself getting bored. decided to pick up this manga since it looked cute and a fun read. After reading all of volume 1. not really liking it as much as I would've.
It feels like there is no real story going on, not that it needs one. But that could've made it more interesting. Besides that. The world building is fine, I don't think I've read enough to say much on it, but it has charm to it. The characters are likeable. they can be a bit flat at times though.
