Savage Garden has a darker and more serious ambience in comparison to Dear My Girls. However, both are romantic/historical series that have the following similarities: 1. Both stories have a girl, brought up in a poor enviroment and one day somehow becomes rich. Then, falls in love with someone they thought they'd never end up with. Both stories have the classical Victorian style also. =)

Both Harem manga, the only difference about the two is the main characters gender.

Both have a similar setting: a young girl goes to study to an academy. She is naive and funny most of the times and gets the attention of two men. Very similar costumes and feeling, except that Ciel is on a fantasy setting while DMG is not.

Both have a tomboy protagonist on Victorian Era that attends an academy. Both have Love triangles and pretty designs.

They are both about how this one child is the only normal or average person in the whole family. Dear My Girls is about an untalented girl while Family Complex is about this average guy.
