Bl where the couple starts out as best friends/childhood friends already. They usually have extreme ‘friendly’ intimacy even before they confess. Often side characters will be surprised if they’re not together and even when they’re apart they often can’t shut up about each other.

Their arcs are usually either 1 of them already being in love and trying to hide it/confess, or abt both of them slowly realising they've always been in love.

Childhood friends who’ve fallen out/lost contact or aren’t very close are excluded. Mostly excluding smut-heavy ones bc they're not the right vibe for what I'm looking for (also excluding sequels)

BL oneshot (or something within 3 chapters max) that's impactful, something really good, really cute or really creepy.
For those who wants to read BL but didn't have time/ didn't want to invest much time, something you can read before sleep or on break time.
