Shiharu is a girl from an orphanage who enjoys taking care of children. On the other hand we have Lily who dies on Earth and is reincarnated as a maid. Both girls love the life they have and are whole-heartedly enjoying taking care of others with no mind to their own lives. A man barges into their lives and asks somehting outrageous of them. The children both have rare powers that are in a sense feared by some/feel the need to be under strict control, which is part of the reason they were under the care of the characters. However they begin to experience new and amazing things and begin to grow as a character thanks to the new guardian(s) and start to grow attach to one another, which you see develop in the story. Both are set in a fantasy world. "Maid kara Haha ni Narimashita" is a reincarnation manga about a killed girl becoming a maid and mother to a high-magic-powered child while "Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta!: Kokuyoku no Haou" is about a person that gets stuck in a game as a character.

Both are set in a fantasy world. "Maid kara Haha ni Narimashita" is a reincarnation manga about a killed girl becoming a maid and mother to a high-magic-powered child. "Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami" is about a girl getting reborn into an Otome Game as the villianess and avoids her fate and uses her old world knowledge to better the land her father hands to her.

Both are similar in the aspect of taking care of someone younger but not having a blood connection with them. In Maid kara Haha ni Narimashita, there is a magic and the main character is a mother figure. In Ikoku Meiro no Croisée, there are no fantasy elements, and the setting takes place in 19th century France. The male mc is like a brother figure to the main character.
