The Kodansha Manga Award (講談社漫画賞, Kōdansha Manga Shō) is an annual award for serialized manga published in the previous year, the event is sponsored by the publisher Kodansha. There are only a few manga translated in Greek, mainly because the Greeks interested in manga usually know enough English to read it in that language, and thus publishers don't usually bother with translating. Also for this reason the existing Greek translations are very partial, covering only a few volumes, and usually only in physical format, since they don't bother with making ebooks. Still, here I gather the ones I'm aware of in one place. A selection of particularly interesting manga created for a female audience. Includes both modern and classic titles from a variety of different genres. A manga interest stack featuring human-presenting female leads with non-human-presenting male leads. Number of sales and date that number was acquired from in notes for each. Some of them I have personally estimated a higher figure than the date says. possible spoilers!! The problem in a lot of romances is that instead of an actual love triangle it's just a love corner - two "options" making the MC decide on one of them. This list has love triangles where the relationships are more than meets the eye - maybe all three even love each other (best friends, caught in between siblings, etc.) In the world of the anime and manga industry, it is rarely seen that a female manga artist comes at the top of the chain. Most of the popular anime series are written by male authors. One Piece, Naruto, AOT, Jujutsu Kaisen, all these notable manga’s are from male artists. And, there is no end to this list. But, what about anime by female manga artists? Mangas that revolve around the two MC’s living together!!! Stories that are melancholic and sad, but have a hopeful outlook at the same time Do you want to make yourself sad by experiencing first love through manga? Then this one is for you! This list is derived from The Anime Man's "The OFFICIAL Top 100 Manga Of All Time (According To The Internet) Is Actually Surprising..." video. The video goes over the results of an online poll that he created in which people could vote for their favorite manga series. You are reading a slow burn romance, and you start rooting for the second lead despite the odds being against them. Deep down, you know that 80% of the time the MC is gonna end up with the main lead. But you can't stop hoping since they feel more realistically flawed and human. In some cases, the second lead even ends up with the protagonist, and that's the closest feeling to winning the lottery. Manga that explore loneliness/solitude in significant capacity. This includes social isolation, literal isolation, and so on! We've all experienced that frustrated feeling of enjoying a manga/LN, only to find out that it has a horrible, rushed, incomplete, unsatisfying ending. Here is a list of manga/LNs with endings that are so fulfilling and complete that they will leave you with nothing but a heart full of contentment and/or bittersweetness. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have satisfying endings. It can be a manga about cats or just feature one cat. Also: not exactly a house cat but any kind of feline. Derived from AniFem's General Recommendations and Queer Representation Recommendations |
