The Japan Media Arts Festival is an annual festival held since 1997 by Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs. The festival begins with an open competition and culminates with the awarding of several prizes and an exhibition.

Androids are humans... not really they are artificially-created to mimic them in looks and behavior. Maybe its a Droid, maybe its an robot? At least we know they aren't really Human...

Manga with exceptionally good artwork, not something that's the same boring black and white generic faces/body types. But instead manga that takes its artwork seriously, the artist knows how to create a scene, give each character unique appearances.

Stories featuring artificially-created beings that are made to look and act like humans.

Only Manga concluded as of creation.

Title says it all, Manga I have read set in at least one of these criteria.

All were quite enjoyable reads and some have Anime adaptations, usually good ones (especially Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Planetes, Ghost in the Shell and Trigun).

I'm not going to include any one-shots, or one shot collections because I feel like the list would get too much fluff, same goes for the spin-offs, but for those it's more the case that Boichi is never really the original (co-)creator of the IP and/or story (like Ace's Story from One Piece)

I couldn't find the manga (Miss 130/Miss DD) It's on myanimelist's to-be-approved list, it's practically a hentai manga

I couldn't find the manga (Dekoman - Asoko mangaka ga kimyō-na art o tsukutta riyū) but the author, Rokudenashiko, is more interesting than the manga itself.
