After watching the show for the 4th time I really would enjoy to see this dubbed. I feel like I am missing a lot of the emotion not knowing the language.

ANY news at all on a dub? I search and search to no avail.

There is absolutely no dub for Kaiba. Only licensed shows get dubbed, because it helps them sell. Even if Kaiba were to get licensed, the DVD probably wouldn't come with a dub, since this series will only ever have niche appeal, and a sub-only release would be more profitable(voice actors do have to get paid, after all).

Sadly, Kaiba has yet to be licensed for R1. Until that happens, there will be no dub. And when/if it does get licensed, it will depend on the company that gets it. If Funimation does, it will have a high chance of getting one, if Nozomi, ADV/Sentai Filmworks, or Media Blasters get it, the chances are fairly low.

The only tidbit of "news" is that Kaiba was mentioned on a Funimation survey asking if there would be interest for a variety of titles (wedged in between titles LOADS more popular than poor, dear Kaiba). Few people mentioned that they voted for it in the comments (myself included in the few). But it does show that it is on their radar, so there might be a chance, even if it's a small one. =)

I do agree with you. I think Kaiba would work very well with a dub and I hope very much that if it does get picked up, it will be dubbed... but I wouldn't hold my breath. ;_;

... I hate to say it (no seriously, I over use this expression, but I mean it in its truest form here), and I apologize if I'm necro-posting, but you recognize we're quite lucky this got a FAN-SUB, much less any official version that costs less than 75 dollars, doesn't come directly imported from Japan, or even is blessed with subtitles. This series runs on its niche appeal, because they are the only people willing to try an anime with the visual style of Kaiba. This series honestly has about as much chance as Kodomo no Jikan. For those of you wondering how, think about it this way, how many parents or grandparents accidentally buying this for their young child or grandchild it would take to fuel enough negative press end this poor series chance of ever hitting it off in other countries? Still, cross your fingers guys!

It depresses me that this was said nearly a decade ago. I am afraid the chance for a dub is long, long, passed.
