Now, IIRC there was a chapter in the original xxxHOLiC where a customer paid Yuuko a visit and mentioned that someone told her about the shop...just as the customer was about to tell her who it was that told her about the shop, Yuuko stopped her and told her that there was no need to mention the names of prior customers. I think Watanuki knows what's going on just like those around him, but is refusing to see or acknowledge the truth because he doesn't want to give up the comfort of being with everyone again. After Watanuki chose to stay in the shop, he lost the time that he was able to spend with Himawari, Doumeki, Yuuko, and Kohane. I thinks he's just trying to recapture what he missed when he made that choice. |

| What Hannah_Ana said. In the prequel there were instances were customers said someone told them about the shop. So Himawari's aware of Watanuki's situation too, huh. But what's up with their faces in the last page? |

It's been 26 chapters and we still haven't seen the one person Watanuki emphasized with, the one who can see spirits too: Kohane. It was probably her on the other line (she's the only one who calls him by Kimihiro, not even Yuko does), but why hasn't she shown up? |
