THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Lotta? Really? I never saw that coming. We should have at least been allowed to see some kind of outrageous decent into madness first.

Now that that's over, can you guys please find all of the tracking devices that are now stuck all over the ship?

Suddenly there's a barrier and everyone's acting like there's always been one.

Really? It was foreshadowed when she said that line about weeds needing to be plucked, Karala being the weed growing in her garden. I like that this seems to be making a point that the most motherly and prosocial types of women are also the most violently xenophobic. That scene at the end had me sweatin'. Karala was goin' tank man. She's so righteous that I'm suspecting she'll get killed off really unfairly.

I felt bad for Lotta... To think they could live a peaceful life and suddenly all of this happened.

Nice decombining tactic! I can't recall if it was ever done in Gundam 0079 (maybe with the G-Falcon and all?), but if it wasn't, this scene might have been the origin of that maneuver that became so used in various Gundam series!

Wow that ending, Karala with the dodgetank strats.

The cast has been slowly breaking down over the course of the recent episodes, where the constant stress of the attacks have been really getting to everyone, but I think this is the real first time that someone's life was on the line in a confrontation. If this cast is going to ever collapse onto itself, I think this is the episode where it really begins.

"It's sad that adults act maturely" in this problem?! Is the hero some kind of Peter Pan?

Suddenly there's a barrier and everyone's acting like there's always been one.

Yes, I think the redish aura was there since the first time but that didn't prevent attacks bck then. Probably a way to excuse the aliens inaction during most combinations.

This series will be weighed down not by gravity but by its constant skirmishes, just like Zeta. Most of the interesting stuff happens in the ship/on the bridge.

4/5

That ending was fantastic. I love the part where Lotta ran out of bullets and started crying

I think that's the first time they split to dodge an attack.

Also I wonder how many tracking device they have on their ship now ?
They are just going to keep getting attacked until that's dealt with.

Never would have guessed Lotta.

Love finally blossoming between Cosmo & Kasha?

For all the damage from the constant pounding they take every ep, I'm amazed any of the tracking devices survive.

Rating: 4/5 Like the messaging of how sad and tragic person become once developed inter own hatred and bigotry like poor Lotta was at the end of episode. Jeez will there ever be a tolerable or good female character outside St. Karala? Seriously, even Lotta has succumbed to the vindictiveness virus plaguing all the ladies on the Solo ship.

Also, very annoyed Yes would just allow a crew member to get away in firing a weapon at fellow passenger that also nearly hit him. I mean, really, shooting the captain of the ship and Lotta faces no punishment? And after Bes was such an alpha Captain the last episode defending Karala's honor and all those virtue points down the drain after that decision to let Lotta a free shot to execute his lady. Of course they all may assumed Lotta was a crap shot whose useless with any weapon outside her weed puller. Or maybe they can just see even Ideon barrier armor is no match for Karala's plot armor ;-)

Still, Karala is such a righteous martyr, her suffering makes a lasting connection to me and keeps adding real substance to the series. The cross she bravely bears for her entire clan makes a true hero in my viewpoint and I'm definitely passionate for her plight. Karala is the true giant of this series due to both her incredible beauty and inner grace to constantly turn the other cheek to her most ruthless enemies.
