| I've been watching 笑点 (Shouten) lately. It's a weekly televised comedy show that's been running for 40 years in Japan. Some of it can be a bit difficult because of cultural references and wordplay and the like, but I've found it quite entertaining and educational. It's done in a similar aesthetic style to rakugo (落語), though it's called oogiri (大喜利). |

| Heh, I tried out chatpad and when it inevitably came up that I'm not Japanese, he said he heard of Colorado from Monopoly. I was kind of surprised, ended up talking about Monopoly for a while, and then he quit randomly after many へーs Somewhat awkward, I'm not good at talking to random people in any language though. I'll probably stick with lang-8 too, but it's interesting. |
| Pretty awesome. But having to read & translate Kanji in real time is hard xD EDIT: I asked someone to use only Hiragana & they did. They are nice people there! I've been talking to them for 2 hours non-stop =P Great find! |

| I found this pretty funny one of arashi-week-takeover thing. It's interesting how the mcdonald farm song lyrics' E I E I O sounds like iya iya yo. another i don't know most of the people they called out... of course maybe a couple of them by their face rather than their name feel better if you're still in earlier stages and can't read much kanji - this other girl who's name is suzanne's pretty dumb too. I just find it really funny not to be mean or condesecending... just really shocking and interesting. i love jarujaru sometimes. school kakumei ep from a couple weeks back or more don't remembe.r |
