I've been thinking about the significance of honey and clovers, and the sandwich Hagu makes at the end. Could it be an allegory for life, about how it's bittersweet? I've never tasted a clover before, but I'd imagine it'd taste bitter like grass lol.
I like anime and stuff

I thought that Honey and Clover possibly had something to do with the characters when I watched it, but its been a couple of years since I watched it =P. I really doubt there's any actual meaning to it though. The sandwich seemed somewhat random and out of place, and I felt it was forcefully put in.

Check Wikipedia. I think they said it came out of the album Hachimitsu (or was that a single?) by Spitz and the other one I forgot

Honey = Sweet?
Clover = Luck?

I know the symbol of clover was used in season one but I'm not quite sure about honey. It could be used to represent Hagu as a whole.

I think it has something to do with time and it's relativity to one's existence. I feel like the honey and clover analogy was meant to be ambiguous due to this shows use of forks in the road figuratively. I mean think about how much effort they took in developing to dead end loves I think there may be a hint of bittersweet in the title but to be honest I think that development was used to overcome the fork in the road development. My first clue was when Sensei said something to Shinobu of the two paths she could take and then said something to himself about a third road he wasn't telling him about. I may be rambling but let me know what you guys think.
How fitting (or depressing I haven't decided) for my 100th post to be about me complaining about dicks who review shows without finishing them.
