| Yeah, Smokestack Lightening Is a great tune and The Animals certainly made it their own. I like all of them, which is why I posted so many. BB is always great, too. I can spend a lot of time listening to him. I'll bet he puts on a terrific show. Stormy Monday is another long time favorite of mine. I first heard it from the Allman Brothers on their Live at Filmore East album. When he introduces it, he says it's "an old Bobby Bland song" and then quickly corrects himself saying, "actually it's a T-Bone Walker song"' an understandable mistake since they were doing their best to copy Bobby Bland's version. |
