| OP is ok. I like ED song so much. That background... That younger brother is cute and ED using real scenes? Don't tell me that their sole purpose is to make see through glasses?! They made and failed so many glasses (#34 is the success one?), and wanting to try out with seeing the nurses during the eye test... lol @ not able to see the sketch because of severe nearsightness. Preview guy is Kimura-san's character. |

| Wow, I wear glasses but never have I thought much about them, but these guys are devoted to glasses to the extreme especially the leader o_O But this was pretty entertaining, although it's kind of strange how every visible character has glasses though. |

| Not really what I hoped it would be: I like a little more dept and A LOT LESS VIBRANT COLOURS It's fine for laughs though and I will keep watching it! |
| It was an okay episode,had some funny moments. I like the art and character designs. and Minabe is <3 the last part was really cute too. |
| I gave it a shot. Like the person above me said, I was just really turned off by the art style and the colors. The colors. Too bright! Too vibrant! They distracted me from what was supposed to be funny. All I knew that was going on was a bunch of color screaming at me. Well, not my cup of tea, but I'm sure other people can look past all that stuff and really enjoy this. |

| I do really like the artstyle. There is very little actual animation in this anime. Just fancy still shots. The OST is unique. There is not a female character in sight. |

| Quite a few people not liking the colors.. Ahaha, I love them on the other hand. It's what I'd expect from something directed by Yamamato Soubi and I love it. I enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. The cast seems likable so far, and the humor is a little ridiculous, but still very funny. Hope to see more of Akira's brother. He's adorable! I had such low expectations for this series, but it actually id have a pretty decent start. I'll be watching episode 2. |

| well this wasn't really what i expected. not in a bad way though. i didn't expect to laugh that much in this episode but oh god it was hilarious. especially the vision tests and when the x-ray glasses exploded. and i think i'm really going to like yukiya (the tall black-haired guy)~ |

Didn't expect to like the comedy so much. I also didn't expect Yamamoto Soubi to be using her usual style to direct, which is a plus because I like her style, and especially all the vibrant colors and patterns she uses. The paino bgm was really pretty too. It was funny how they wanted to finish the xray glasses so they can see the nurse, but the whole time I was just thinking how I only see a man giving the eye exam....and of course they didn't even realize it, only Akira did because of his brother (who is adorable btw). Loving the cast, they're all really fun and have their quirks. I also enjoyed the OP and ED. Looks like it's the comedy of the season for me, along with Super Seisyun Brothers ^^ |
| I love the art too, is pretty typical of the director and what I think really makes her unique. This show is hilarious, come on guys its about making X-ray glasses surely you can relate to our megane brethren. PS: I adjusted my glasses a lot while watching this. I feel so included. |

| This is extremely visually confusing. Where the heck am I supposed to be looking?? So many colors, so many random kanji characters, so many random effects, it's very confusing. I was hoping this was going to be like Free!, but it's seems silly to the point of childish- oh well, I'm definitely giving it a fair shot anyways. |
| 3.5/5 but I have to say I enjoyed it half of the time, especially when they were on their "mission" of stalling. I can relate because my eyes are ALMOST as bad as Soma's. LOL To the points where I have to go right up close to the letter board to read it. The art is quite distracting. I like the whole glasses vectors jumping around and stuff, polka dots, bright colours, but that would be much more appropriate in only a few scenes, not EVERYTHING. lol It's just too much. It's like watching a bunch of photoshop edits get animated. Seiyuus are good, but the one playing Shota 2# doesn't really match, because all I hear is Kise. :| Junichi doesn't quite match his character either because all I can imagine him playing are the flirt/arrogant characters like Kaname or Aomine, not the strong silent type. LOL But it's not too bad. Everyone else matches, especially Shota 1# So I'll keep watching for sure. |

| LOL @ Takuma at the end of the OP... xD I do like how colourful everything is, but they really did try to be creative with this work, didn't they? I suppose I prefer the cast of the drama CDs, but if it wasn't for Akira's energetic SUKESUKE MEGANE in the original, it wouldn't matter that much to me. |
| I like it so far. Not as good as Free! in my opinion but pretty good all the same. It was pretty funny and I really liked the ending song. Akira's brother is really cute. I've already chosen Mitsuki as my favourite, but I'm quite fond of all of them at this point. |
| I love meganes. And I am megane myself so I was looking forward to watching this for a long time. It's definitely different than I expected. Thought it will be more like Free or Tsuritama, but now I dunno. It's not bad thing though. It takes a while to get used to its style. But I liked first ep, and I see potential. I'll probably start to like it more after more episodes. And art style is really cute. Reminds me of Tsuritama. for first ep, 6/10. |

I guess you can view it as laziness as opposed to a stylistic choice but it's not something new to this anime. |

| It was very different from what I expected. I didn't like the random shots of scenes from the real world added in. It only made the art style look weirder. While the episode did have some good moments it seemed pretty ridiculous overall.... I might drop it if there ends up being too much fanservice or if it gets to the point where I can't take it even somewhat seriously anymore. I was pretty much laughing throughout the whole series in disbelief how different (from what I thought it was going to be) and ridiculous it was so I might be dropping it sooner than planned. |

Yamamoto Soubi's other works are just like this (well kind of). But yeah, it's a stylistic choice and not laziness. Studio Deen is definitely not a lazy animation studio. I rarely see derp faces in their anime, if anything, I don't think I have noticed any at all (at least in their recent works). |

| The visuals are so SHAFT that it isn't SHAFT, all it needs is more head-tilts. This was a really fun episode, I came into this expecting to drop it, my expectations were surpassed though. I'll stick with this a little longer. |

| hmm.. ok this show is kinda weird... not in a bad way i might add. What i liked: - The artstyle -> it kinda reminded me a little bit of watching an episode of baka to test - the setting? if you could call it that XD - Megane: as a fellow megane"ist" that is What i disliked: - the charakters: ok i understand that they wanted as many different types of guys as possible to be appealing to girls i guess but they kinda felt forced - the humor: it was funnier than i excepted it to be but many jokes were too shallow for my liking so i put this in the dislike section for the most part. I will continue to watch it but only for 2 more episodes... if the humor gets better i will continue the show... if it gets worse than that... than i will sadly drop it. |

| I will give the anime a chance with another episode, but barely stand to the end of the first. The only funny thing was they all have perfect vision, yet they choose to mask their perverted curiosities behind glasses. Touche :) Can't find anything appealing about the characters. IDK, they remind me of UtaPri, which is a bad sign, and have nothing to do with Kimi to Boku's level of brocom, which is even worse. |

| Wahaha, I liked it! Practically, cute boys doing... anything. xD The art is a bit psychedelic, it's nice to see a different style. The sound is also great. As for the characters, Hayato is definitely the type I like xD I don't really like people comparing it to Free, it has no point comparing them just because it's "fujoshit" (peh). I was sure this would be different from it right from the start. And by the way, I have the same glasses as Akira, though mine are purple xD |
| I'm not even sure why people are even attempting to compare this to Free! when they're so different. It was funny and over-the-top even with the insane color scheme and quirky animation. I found myself laughing at it more than I thought it would. Although I thought it was kind of ridiculous that their aim was to make glasses to see through women's clothing... Kind of creepy but I guess that's what an all-boys school does to you and I think that was there to add to the ridiculousness of it all. |
