| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- 'Cactus Summer Surprise' volume 2 extra Thought is was really good! I can't believe that a cactus could be so adorable, especially a tsundere one! And 'save me' so cute!!! XD Prefered the overall character designs in this one compared to Beast Master and the other oneshot, Fly. Even if it was a fairly lengthy oneshot, being able to tell the story so fully is quite a feat. Yes the whole soul switch is a bit random, but I think the duel storyline worked well. Mentioned already that I enjoy stories where childhood friends get together and this is no exception, plus liked Akira's feistiness (headbutt ^^;)!! Lots of the scenarios where funny, especially at the beginning, and liked the development of the relationships throughout, with Kaito sounding being pretty wise near the end. :) Edit 13/10/09: Topic title change since it's One Shot Fans One-Shot of the Week! :D |

While she was wiping her tears, I was wiping mines to D: Oh, lawl, this one-shot just got me. Not only the drama, but the romance was also so cute... My favourite one=shot, without a doubt. <3 |

| I loved Cactus Summer Surprise! It was really good for a one shot, usually I don't really like them. But this one was amazing! :D At first the idea of a cactus in a story was strange, but it turned out way better than I'd expected. I thought it was really sweet, and I liked when they went on a little mini-journey. I even cried T_T It made me want a cactus. |
| Really liked this oneshot, was pretty good and had a very cute tone to it... Also a very original plot (getting stuck in a cactus isn't exactly common in manga)... Anyways good story... oh and only after do I realize this is by the same person as Dengeki Daisy... Thought the art was familiar. |

| Oh, COME ON! We didn't even get to see him finish his confession?! The premise of the oneshot was really dumb but I really enjoyed it. I even cried at the part when Atsuko gave the message to and hugged her daughter. |

| Aww, whatta cute one-shot :') Mother/Daughter scenes always make my throat clog up TT-TT It's so sweet how she knows all of her mom's little habits even tho they don't see each other much :') No confession from Kaito tho, but he can take his time lol. Just don't take too long or you'll die xD Cute how he watered the cactus daily hahah. I'm satisfied with the half kiss xD I say half bc Atsuko had the first half, technically lulz ;P |
| what a great one-shot, that was a great idea to give some supernatural touch in this story, and moreover it's about lost spirit and cactus :D,and top of that what a soothing and beautiful Mother & Daughter moments. Well, nice close up kisses with Kaito half-confession to Akira :D |
