Higurashi When They Cry: Festival Accompanying Arc
| So I've watched it and the sequel (Kai), and I'm not really smart when it comes to puzzling things and I'm completely lost .. like I hit a brick wall and smashed my brain. And if anyone could just summarize what happened in Higurashi and Higurashi Kai, because I watched the anime a long time ago, but it stills bugs me not knowing, so if someone could summarize it, so I could pick up from the latest season, Thanks :D |

As for all your questions apart from 'How does Keiichi remember what happened in another "dimension" ' which is assumed because the fact the same time period has repeated over a hundred times are all clearly answered, are you sure you even watched kai? |

All other seasons are just alternative with no relation to the main plot. So just watch it. As to answer your question, refer to the post above since I'm too lazy. Not true. The serious arc from Rei is actually canon and is after the events of Kai. The other eps and Higurashi Kira is just random(bad) fanservice.Well The first ep or Rei was funny. As for Frederika(Furude Rika) Bernkastel(the wine Rika drinks).She is from the anime Umineko no Naku Koro Ni.She is supposed to be a witch created by the dead Rikas of the worst worlds she experienced. Therefore the virus she had when Satoshi disappeared was acting up again (since she wasnt taking her injections) and she was hallucinating that her uncle was still there, even though Keiichi killed him. This in turn makes Keiichi (and the viewers) also confused that the uncle may still be alive. 4) Nomura is from the organization that sent Takano and Irie to Hinamizawa to further investigate Hinamizawa syndrome.
