Yeah, I agree with you. It was really cool to see all the different styles in the beginning. I do like where the end of chapter 192 was going. The end is hard for me to predict right now. |
| Well, as long as Riko lives in the end it's all good by me. This series was a 10/10 for me up until the start of the second round... |

| I only read till 193 so far (so still the last chapter missing). For me Gamaran was a 10/10 until the timeskip. From then on the fights were pretty much all very predictable. It really is a shame that it got cancelled like this. If the mangaka knew that this would be his last arc he actually given us a good ending instead of trying to set up a new arc after this which now isn´t going anywhere. The whole his dad actually wasn´t that bad of a guy and is dying of an illness is just so stupid. I would have rather seen the shogunate being the "good guys" and team up with gamaran to fight the muhou school as a final arc. And with shogunate I mean like 3 skilled assassins instead of a bunch of fodder. |
| Now that 193 has been translated... Alot of respect for shinkuu and Tsuchiryuu for taking down Tsukikage like that. Nice to see Gama finally growing up and I'm a bit confused as to how they'll fit everything else into a single chapter. 194 The final Chapter.... What can I say, I got a bit emotional. Sad to hear Ranmaru died in the attack, I don't recall them showing it. Looks like there could potentially be a sequal with Kudou, Shinkuu and Tsuchiryuu. Love to see what Kashitarou makes of the new style and Riko was barely even mentioned in this final chapter... Why didn' he stay with the daigame ryuu? Just like the good old days... This chapter 8.5/10 This arc 8/10 The first couple arcs were 10/10 for me. This series 9/10 |

| Even though I agree with you on that the series went on a downfall after the second round but I'll still miss this story a lot. I've been reading it for 3 years and kind of grew on me. :D I enjoyed it for the most of the time and liked these characters. I guess a 7/10 will be my score~ |

| I liked it at the beginning then it turned into shounen when it felt more like a Seinen. I didnt even know it was ending. The ending felt rushed and dont even know what to say. Too many unanswered things. Hopefully its a sequel but who knows. Was the manga sales doing bad in Japan or something? |
| Another one over! What is this, the summer of dying manga? Never the less! The saga's over, and the stories done, it didn't feel as rushed and disappointing as Cage of Eden, and tied everything up in a nice bow like Kurogane. Let's see what the newbies can bring to the table now. |

| The manga went completely downhill after the timeskip, before that it was simply great. Such a shame what happened. |
| Seems like my thoughts about this manga also echoes most other people in this thread. I absolutely loved this manga to start off with. But after the tournament upheaval and essentially, after the timeskip, things started to deviate to a path that I didn't particularly enjoy as much. I'm going to give it a final 6/10 rating. Again, extremely good to start of with, but then it tapered off tremendously. |
| Still a great manga, it went downhill and became predictable but I still enjoyed it a lot. I would recommend it to other people; I just wish it continued its strong start throughout the manga. 7/10 |

| Just finished this after forgetting to read the last 18 chapters. I agree with people replying on this thread, after the timeskip,things weren't that good anymore. 7/10 |

| Agree with most of the people here, after the time skip it's just the same thing over and over again. The whole invasion is a huge training arc for Gama, that's how I feel. There were still a few really good moments, albeit cliche, like Zenmaru and Kai, or Zenmaru and Kashitarou. I won't comment on whether the ending is good or bad, but it certainly gave me the "wow what a journey" feel. They have all grown. I am satisfied with it, and I will miss all of the characters. Moving on to the next manga~ |

| Honestly, the time skip thing killed the series or at least made it less enjoyable. I can deal with the 'coming back as a new person' trope but the full throttle action with less focus on characterization didn't convince me it was great. The action was overall good though but the series only gets a 6/10 from me. Not too shabby overall but not great either. |

| The ending just happened way fast man like it got a bit hard to keep up emotionally. Pretty much agree with what everyone else is saying, pre time skip was the bomb, went downhill after that but definitely took a huge dive in the last few chapters... |
| I had some issues with it but it was a fine way to spend hours of my life and this ending was quite sweet. 5/10 |
