| I don't really see a problem with that. The important thing is if it created a coherent and self-contained story, not the way and time it was released. E. g. I would never consider LotR a 3 separate movies because it doesn't make any sense. MAL guidelines and DB should be updated to stop with splitting everything because maintaining your list and finding anything becomes an annoying hurdle. Now ever series has one extra OVA/BD episode, some shorts and even web extras so what's the point of making 3-4 entries for one show. Same way we see more and more 4-6 part movies or OVA released every few months so who in his right mind want to have them separately and rate them separately when they are just one story. In short: MAL functionality + AniDB way of handling DB please. |
