| sorry, but this episode is still boring just as much as i thought even 15 years ago and before, and that's rare considering this is a Rumiko Takahashi work. Sentaro and her grandma mean nothing to me. Girl Ranma once again gets on my nerves with her total lack of feminine traits, and definitely isn't suited for this so called tea ceremonials fighting style (seriously, is everything a style of fighting in this universe?) but at least looks great with that kimono. |

| This one was pretty fun, I found the tea ceremony martial arts to be interesting although of course it was very silly, especially when Ranma tried doing it lol, the old lady made it look more sophisticated. Also Sentaro was kind of a bastard lol, man kidnaps Ranma in the middle of a crowd, then begs Ranma to help him, but then betrays him later in the middle of the fight, I guess the fact Ranma isn’t actually a babe to the core turned him off that much. Also some good Akane bits in this one, I personally liked the “japan’s clumsiest girl” line lol. And it’s interesting to hear this is actually a way earlier chapter in the manga, that makes sense honestly, it was just Ranma and Akane with no other side characters minus the new ones, and there hasn’t been a lot of Fem Rama lately so having nearly a whole episode with this version is nice. Also this is the first episode of the 5th Bluray set, gonna need to buy more soon lol. |
